JAIS Formula AirTouch Tinted Sunscreen Powder SPF 50

Touch Up. Control Shine. Stay Fresh.

Meet your on-the-go sun-care companion. JAIS Formula AirTouch Tinted Sunscreen Powder combines mineral UV filters, next-generation UV-filter technology, oil-absorbing powders and a natural tint to create a smooth, soft-matte finish.

Designed for hot and humid Indian weather, its lightweight, silky texture helps manage excess shine and makes sunscreen touch-ups convenient throughout the day, including over makeup.

Why You’ll Love It

1. Broad-Spectrum Sun Protection

Formulated with Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Tinosorb M and Tinosorb S. The product is marketed as SPF 50 PA++++; the finished formula’s SPF and UVA protection claims should be supported by appropriate laboratory testing.

2. Oil Control

Kaolin clay helps absorb excess oil and reduce the appearance of unwanted shine, leaving skin looking fresher.

3. Soft-Matte Finish

Corn starch and fine powder ingredients help create a smooth, silky finish and soften the appearance of uneven texture.

4. Tinted Blendability

Yellow and red iron oxides provide tint and help improve the powder’s appearance on a range of skin tones.

5. Skin Comfort

Oat powder helps condition and comfort the skin, while the lightweight powder texture is designed for convenient daily use.

6. Makeup-Friendly Touch-Ups

Use it to refresh the look of your complexion and help manage shine over makeup. Apply evenly rather than relying on a light dusting for sunscreen protection.

7. Convenient for Indian Weather

Ideal for carrying in your bag for touch-ups during office hours, travel and outdoor activities.

How to Use

Apply your regular broad-spectrum sunscreen lotion or gel generously to clean, dry skin as the primary layer of sun protection.
Allow your skincare and sunscreen to settle.
Pick up the powder using the supplied applicator, puff or brush, if included with your pack.
Apply evenly across the face, neck and other exposed areas, avoiding the eyes and nostrils.
Use gentle, even strokes or presses to distribute the powder. Avoid creating airborne powder.
Reapply sunscreen approximately every two hours while outdoors and after swimming, sweating or wiping the skin. Follow the directions on your primary sunscreen.
Use AirTouch powder for touch-ups, but do not assume a light dusting alone provides the labelled SPF.

Important: Sunscreen powders can be difficult to apply in the quantity required to achieve their labelled SPF. For prolonged outdoor exposure, use a tested sunscreen lotion or gel as your primary protection, alongside shade, a hat and protective clothing.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. What is AirTouch Tinted Sunscreen Powder SPF 50?

It is a tinted sunscreen powder designed to provide a matte finish, help manage excess oil and make sunscreen touch-ups more convenient.

2. What does SPF 50 PA++++ mean?

SPF 50 indicates a high level of UVB protection under standardised testing. PA++++ is the highest category in the PA rating system for UVA protection. These claims must be supported by testing of the finished product.

3. Can I use it over makeup?

Yes. Apply gently over makeup to refresh the finish and manage shine. Use enough product for even coverage and avoid relying on a very light dusting for sun protection.

4. Is it suitable for oily skin?

Yes. Kaolin clay and corn starch help absorb excess oil and support a soft-matte finish.

5. Does it leave a white cast?

The tinted formula contains iron oxides, which help provide colour and improve blendability. The final appearance can vary by skin tone and the amount applied.

6. Can I use it instead of sunscreen gel?

For dependable everyday protection, use a tested broad-spectrum sunscreen gel or lotion generously as your primary sunscreen. Powder is best used for touch-ups unless the powder’s own SPF performance and application instructions have been validated for adequate protection.

7. How often should I reapply?

For outdoor exposure, reapply your primary sunscreen approximately every two hours and after swimming, sweating or wiping your skin. Use the powder according to its tested directions.

8. Is it suitable for humid weather?

Its powder texture and oil-absorbing ingredients make it a convenient option for shine management in warm, humid conditions.

9. Can people with dry skin use it?

Yes, but dry skin may benefit from a moisturiser and a suitable sunscreen lotion or gel underneath.

10. Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

The formula contains oat powder, but also menthol and almond powder, which may not suit everyone. Perform a patch test and discontinue use if irritation occurs.

11. Can men use this product?

Yes. It is a cosmetic product intended for adults of any gender, subject to the product’s age guidance and individual skin tolerance.

12. Does it help control pores?

The powder can help soften the appearance of pores and uneven texture. It does not permanently reduce pore size.

13. Is it water-resistant or sweat-proof?

Do not assume water resistance or sweat-proof performance unless the finished product has been tested and the claim is supported by its approved packaging.

14. What is the net quantity?

The product page lists the 50 g pack. Please check the retail packaging for the declared net quantity.

15. Can I use it every day?

It is designed for convenient daily use. Apply according to the product directions and use a tested primary sunscreen for reliable sun protection.
